Rick Hoffman originally played in New York City with the band R. Mutt from 1977-1978.  They often played at CBGB’s and Max’s Kansas City and were part of the popular New Wave scene.

He then went solo and started releasing homemade tape productions during the 1980’s in limited form.  Later in the 90’s he appeared on various compilation CDs with his band Rock City Sound and later with his band Beat Club.  He released his CD Hurricane Season in 2000 and later released Far from the Maddening Crowd in 2002.

He is expected to release his first CD in over twenty years later in 2024.  It is titled The Pros and Cons of Love and you can hear some sample tunes on this web site.
